πŸ”¨ Sandpaper, Frames & Old Masters – A Studio in Motion

My workbench has turned into a busy little world of golden frames and tiny kiwis πŸ¦πŸ’›. Each frame is carefully sanded and prepared to hold its own Kiwi with Pearl Earring portrait. The process is a little messy, but that’s part of the fun!

Stacked beside me are volumes of the old masters, including Johannes Vermeer β€” the original painter behind the Girl with a Pearl Earring. It feels fitting to have his work nearby and supporting my kiwis as I bring this homage to life in my own way.

Hidden under the weight of these great books, tiny frames and kiwis are bonding together, pressed tight to ensure they’ll last for years to come. Art and craft, past and present, all in one moment of the process.
